The home electronics business has exploded over the last few years creating the Digital Age. Products are becoming more sophisticated, yet less expensive; and there are a wide variety of choices. Design is such that electronics can be seamlessly integrated throughout the home with speakers installed in walls, touch screens and keypads allowing control of any electronic system from any point in the home and visible cabling to be a thing of the past.  The products however, represent only a part of any built-in home electronics system. Equally important is the actual design and installation of the system. A well-thought-out system will permit easy operation, long-term reliability, and the flexibility for future upgrades.
